Biography
Young Lee is a neurological surgery resident at UCSF. He received his BSPH in Biostatistics from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. His overall research interest is in the development of surgical devices and medical technology that will help patients by the following ways: (1) improving safety, (2) increasing accessibility to neurosurgical treatment, (3) decreasing the invasiveness of neurosurgical procedures, and/or (4) addressing unmet clinical needs. He will pursue a career in acute care neurosurgery and endovascular neurosurgery with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of common primary neurosurgical disorders and neurologic trauma.
