Biography
Vamsi Aribindi, MD, is a General Surgery resident at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He has a long-time interest in medical devices and innovation, with an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering and having participated in a medical engineering and innovation program while in medical school at USC. He also writes actively on medical topics for the public and has been published in a variety of outlets including the Houston Chronicle, KevinMD, and the Boston Globe.

Dr. Aribindi's current work is focused on Magnamosis, the use of magnets to create new bowel anastamoses. In addition, he participates actively in many other projects and research initiatives that are being trialed by the Surgical Innovations lab.
